Building Energy Performance
Peter Cole Consultants can provide sustainable energy solutions to a number of different markets. Peter Cole Consultants is capable of undertaking a number of services for new and existing buildings, domestic and commercial, in building energy assessment. Our services include:
- Full compliance with Part L Building Regulations
- Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)
- SAP Calculations
- Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) Calculations
From 6th April 2008 all new build homes require an EPC before a final completion certificate can be awarded by building control. As of 1st October 2008 all commercial buildings will require an EPC and all Landlords will be required to produce an EPC for their tennants.
Our prices for SAP calculations and EPCs are shown below.
- SAP rating and EPC for domestic dwellings (floor area less than 150m2) £120 + V.A.T per dwelling
- SAP rating and EPC for domestic dwellings (floor area between 150-350m2) £145 + V.A.T per dwelling
- EPC certificate only £45 + V.A.T per dwelling
We are licensed to use Build Desk Energy Design for Part L1 of the Building Regulations which is on the approved list of software by BRE. Prior to a SAP calculation we require a questionaire to be filled in. Simply download this using the link on the right hand side.
