Flood Risk Assessment
FRAs are required by Local Authorities where new development sites are proposed in areas at risk of flooding and to inform strategic spatial planning to direct development away from high flood risk areas Local Authorities consult the Environment Agency who have a statutory responsibility to review and advise all FRAs and advise on development.
