There are three distinct processes in the delivery of a mezzanine floor. These are design, manufacture and construction.

What is involved in the design stage?
We will take your project through all the neccesary stages of design including any requirement for planning and building regulations. We will design the structure to meet all relevant design codes whether your mezzanine be constructed from timber or steel. Prior to any design we will undertake a site visit to discuss the various options for design, for example location of access, and we will undertake a measured survey noting existing structure which may be used for support of the new floor. The design process will create a specification for all of the relevant materials required for the construction of the mezzanine floor.

How much does a mezzanine cost?
We can give you an estimation for the price of a mezzanine at the beginning of you project subject to a few pieces of information. This will be a guide price and will be banded by a lower and upper cost estimate. A detailed price can be obtained once the design process has been completed.

What needs to be manufactured?
The structural elements of the mezzanine floor may be part of a frame. This frame will need to be specially manufactured to suit the dimensions of your home whether constructed from steel or timber.

Who will build the mezzanine?
Once approval for the mezzanine has been achieved we can now construct your mezzanine floor. We can complete as much or as little of the project as you desire including shell construction only leaving the finishes to others. You may wish to use a local builder for your project to offer a competitive quotation or alternatively undertake the work yourself.
